About Karimunjawa Skydive & the Desk
Not yet. Karimunjawa Skydive is coming soon. Tandem places are tied to the next edition of the Karimunjawa International Skydiving and Adventure (KISA) “Boogie Woogie Jump” festival, and no dates for the next edition have been announced. Right now this site collects a waiting list only. Leave your name, email and WhatsApp number through the reservation form and the desk will write to you by email when the next edition is confirmed.
Karimunjawa Skydive is a concierge and waiting-list desk operated by Juara Holding Group (JHG), a Bali-based travel group established in 2015. We are independent from the event. We do not organise KISA, we do not operate the drop zone or hold its permits, and we do not fly the aircraft. Our role is to collect interest, keep you informed by email, and arrange the travel around a jump through our sister brands.
The Karimunjawa International Skydiving and Adventure (KISA) festival is the event that brings tandem skydiving to Karimunjawa. Its first edition ran 7–11 May 2025 at Bandara Dewadaru on Pulau Kemujan, Kabupaten Jepara, Central Java. Around 50 licensed skydivers from Indonesia and abroad took part, and tandem jumps for beginners were offered to the public. The organisers have said the event will be held routinely; the next edition has not been dated.
The drop zone used in 2025 was Bandara Dewadaru (Dewadaru Airport, IATA KWB) on Pulau Kemujan, the northern island of the Karimunjawa archipelago in Kabupaten Jepara, Central Java. Karimunjawa sits inside a national park established in 1999 and declared a marine reserve in 2001, covering about 110,117 hectares of islands, reef and sea. From altitude the view is the archipelago and the Java Sea, not a city.
It has happened. The 2025 edition of KISA took place 7–11 May 2025 at Bandara Dewadaru with around 50 licensed skydivers and public tandem places. Jumps were described as from up to 12,000 ft. What is not confirmed is the next edition: no dates exist yet. We say “coming soon” because that is the truth, not because we are holding back a calendar.
Use the reservation form on this site — it asks for your name, email and WhatsApp number — or email bd@juaraholding.com directly. Joining the waiting list involves no payment and no obligation. When the next KISA edition is announced, waiting-list members hear from the desk by email first, with the tandem price for that edition and the steps to confirm a place.
By design. Everything at Karimunjawa Skydive runs through one channel: the reservation form and bd@juaraholding.com. One inbox means nothing is lost between a chat thread and an email chain, and every enquiry is answered in writing. If you would like to be reached on WhatsApp later, add your number in the form and say so — the desk will note it.
They are sister brands under Juara Holding Group. Komodo Luxury published the 2025 Karimunjawa tandem pricing and runs phinisi charters in Komodo; Bali Premium Trip handles Bali transfers and tours; Bali Premium Villa handles villa stays; Indonesia Juara Trip covers Sumba, Raja Ampat and liveaboards. Karimunjawa Skydive is the desk that links a jump to that network. Mention any of them in your reservation note.
Pricing & Waiting List
For the next edition, pricing is confirmed by the desk at launch. As a reference, the 2025 edition was priced at USD 525 per tandem early bird and USD 575 on the spot, including a cameraman. Those are 2025 edition figures published by our sister brand Komodo Luxury; they are not a quote for the next edition. When the next KISA dates are announced, waiting-list members receive the confirmed price by email before anything is paid.
The 2025 edition tandem — USD 525 early bird / USD 575 on the spot — included the jump with a licensed tandem instructor from the event and a cameraman for your footage. Travel to Karimunjawa, accommodation, ferries or flights and meals were separate. Inclusions for the next edition are set by the event organiser and will be stated by the desk when the price is confirmed.
Yes, on request. The desk can build a Karimunjawa jump into a wider itinerary through our sister brands: a Komodo phinisi charter with Komodo Luxury, Bali transfers and tours with Bali Premium Trip, a villa stay with Bali Premium Villa, or Sumba, Raja Ampat and liveaboard journeys with Indonesia Juara Trip. Combined itineraries are quoted case by case. Describe what you have in mind in your reservation note.
No. We do not run discounts, promo codes or flash sales. The only price references on this site are the 2025 edition figures — USD 525 early bird / USD 575 on the spot per tandem including camera — and the price for the next edition will be confirmed by the desk at launch. If a third-party site advertises a Karimunjawa Skydive coupon, it has not come from us.
No. The waiting list is free and carries no obligation. The form collects your name, email and WhatsApp number so the desk can reach you when the next edition opens. Payment terms, deposits and confirmation steps for the next edition will be explained by email at launch, before you commit to anything.
When the next KISA Boogie Woogie Jump edition is confirmed. We do not have a date for that. Rather than guess, we keep the 2025 edition price visible as a reference and send the confirmed figure to waiting-list members by email the moment it exists. If you see a price for the next edition of Karimunjawa skydiving anywhere else, it has not come from this desk.
Your name, email and WhatsApp number are stored on this site and forwarded to bd@juaraholding.com. The desk replies by email to acknowledge your place on the waiting list. When the next edition is announced, you receive the dates, the confirmed tandem price and the steps to secure a place. Until then, you will not be asked to pay anything.
There is no booking to cancel yet. Joining the waiting list costs nothing and can be withdrawn at any time by emailing bd@juaraholding.com. Cancellation and refund terms for tandem places at the next edition are set by the event organiser and will be sent to you in writing before any payment. We recommend planning buffer days around a jump, because skydiving is weather-dependent.
Eligibility & Requirements
The site-stated guest weight range is 45–95 kg. Tandem places are for adults. Final rules on age, weight and health are confirmed by the event organiser for each edition and will be sent to waiting-list members before any payment. We do not publish limits beyond those, because they are not ours to set.
No. Tandem skydiving is designed for first-timers. You are harnessed to a licensed tandem instructor who handles the exit, freefall, canopy flight and landing. Your part is the ground briefing beforehand and following instructions on the day. No aviation, parachuting or athletic background is required.
Possibly, but that decision belongs to the event organiser and its instructors, not to this desk. Conditions such as heart problems, epilepsy, recent surgery, pregnancy or spinal injury are commonly subject to restrictions in tandem skydiving worldwide. If you have a condition, mention it in your reservation note so the desk can raise it early and you receive the organiser's rules before you commit.
Tandem operators generally do not accept pregnant passengers, and we expect the same rule at the next edition. The final medical rules are set by the event organiser and shared by the desk before payment. If this applies to you, tell the desk in your note and consider a later edition.
Tandem places at Karimunjawa Skydive are for adults. Age limits for the next edition are confirmed by the event organiser at launch; we do not publish a number that has not been set. Families travelling with children can still build a Karimunjawa or Bali itinerary around one adult's jump through the desk.
Tell the desk when you register. The 45–95 kg range is the site-stated guidance for tandem guests; the organiser confirms the final limit and any case-by-case allowance for each edition. We would rather know now than have you travel to Karimunjawa and be turned away at the drop zone.
Usually yes. Tandem jumpers are normally given goggles that fit over glasses or work with contact lenses. Bring a case for your glasses in case the instructor asks you to remove them. Equipment and eyewear rules for the next edition are confirmed by the organiser and shared by the desk before the day.
Yes. The 2025 edition drew licensed skydivers from Indonesia and abroad, and tandem briefings at international events are commonly given in English. The desk communicates in English by email. If you need a specific language on the day, note it in your reservation form so it can be raised with the organiser.
Safety & Equipment
Tandem skydiving relies on a licensed instructor, a main and reserve parachute, and jump limits set by the operator. At the 2025 edition, jumps were carried out by licensed skydivers under the event organiser. Karimunjawa Skydive is a waiting-list desk, not the operator, so we do not make safety claims on the organiser's behalf and we do not publish safety figures we do not own. Ask the desk and we will forward the organiser's own information when it is issued.
Tandem instructors are licensed skydivers provided by the event organiser for each edition. Around 50 licensed skydivers from Indonesia and abroad took part in the 2025 edition. We do not publish instructor names on this site; the organiser confirms the tandem crew for the next edition. The desk is not involved in selecting or certifying instructors.
Standard tandem equipment: a dual harness, main and reserve parachute, jumpsuit, goggles and a camera carried by the cameraman. Equipment is supplied and maintained by the event organiser, not by this desk. You bring yourself, suitable clothing and closed shoes; everything else is provided on the day.
Closed-toe athletic shoes with laces — no sandals or boots. Fitted, comfortable clothing: a t-shirt with leggings or shorts; a jumpsuit is normally worn on top. Long hair tied back. Empty pockets: phones, keys and jewellery stay with your belongings on the ground. Sunscreen is sensible; Karimunjawa is tropical and the airfield is exposed. The organiser's own dress rules apply on the day.
Tandem passengers are generally not permitted to carry cameras during a jump, and we expect the same rule at the next edition. The 2025 edition tandem price included a cameraman precisely so you do not need to. Whether footage is included in the next edition is confirmed by the desk together with the price at launch.
Skydiving is weather-dependent. Jumps only go ahead when cloud base, visibility and surface wind sit inside the operator's limits. If conditions fall outside those limits, whether and when a jump is rescheduled within the event is decided by the organiser, not by this desk; we pass on what we are told by email as soon as we have it. Plan buffer days in Karimunjawa rather than a same-day departure.
Yes. Tandem jumps begin with a ground briefing from the instructor covering body position, the exit, canopy flight and landing posture. It is short and practical; you do not need to memorise anything. The organiser sets the format for each edition. If you want extra preparation, an indoor wind-tunnel session before you travel can help with confidence, but it is not required.
Three things. We hold your name, email and WhatsApp number. We write to you by email when the next KISA edition is confirmed, with the dates and the confirmed price. And we arrange the travel around it through JHG's sister brands if you ask. We do not promise dates, places, prices or weather, because those are not ours to promise.
Logistics & Getting to Karimunjawa
Karimunjawa is an archipelago in the Java Sea, north of Jepara in Central Java. Three verified routes: the Express Bahari fast ferry from Jepara, about 2–2.25 hours; the KMP Siginjai slow ferry, about 4.5–6 hours; or a Susi Air flight from Semarang (SRG) to Karimunjawa (KWB), about 40 minutes. Schedules vary with season and sea conditions. The desk can arrange Semarang/Jepara–Karimunjawa transfers, quoted case by case.
The drop zone is Bandara Dewadaru (KWB) on Pulau Kemujan, which is also the archipelago's own airstrip; Susi Air flies there from Semarang (SRG) in about 40 minutes, schedules permitting. For most travellers the gateway is Semarang: fly in, then either the Susi Air hop or a road transfer to Jepara for the ferry. The desk can plan the routing around your arrival.
Route via Semarang (SRG). From there, take the Susi Air flight to Karimunjawa (KWB, about 40 minutes) or a road transfer to Jepara for the Express Bahari fast ferry (about 2–2.25 hours). The desk can arrange the Bali airport leg through Bali Premium Trip and the Semarang/Jepara–Karimunjawa leg, quoted case by case. Ask for a full door-to-drop-zone plan in your reservation note.
Accommodation on the islands is limited, and event weeks are busy. Most stays are on the main Karimunjawa island, with the drop zone on neighbouring Pulau Kemujan. The desk can arrange stays and local transfers around a jump, quoted case by case. Join the waiting list first so you know the event dates before you commit to rooms.
The dry season, roughly April to October, is generally preferred for sea conditions and ferry crossings — a general climate pattern, not an official rule. The 2025 edition ran 7–11 May. The date of the next edition is set by the organiser, not by weather alone, and it has not been announced. When it is, waiting-list members receive it by email.
That is decided by the organiser's jump schedule and the day's conditions. Mornings usually bring calmer surface winds and clearer light for footage, which is why events tend to run early; afternoons can be interrupted by cloud build-up. Expect to be given a slot rather than to choose one, and keep the whole day free.
Plan for half a day at the airfield: check-in and waiver, the ground briefing, gearing up, the climb to altitude, a freefall lasting under a minute, several minutes under canopy, and landing. Weather holds can extend this. Add ferry or flight time each way, and treat a Karimunjawa jump as a multi-day trip rather than a day out.
At least three nights. One for arrival by ferry or flight, one for the jump, and one buffer for weather. Crossings and flights vary with sea and season, so build slack into both ends. The desk can fill the extra days with island hopping and stays, quoted case by case, and match your arrival to the event dates once they exist.
Yes. The desk arranges Semarang/Jepara–Karimunjawa transfers, ferry or flight bookings where available, island hopping within the national park and stays around a jump — all quoted case by case. Bali legs go through Bali Premium Trip; wider Indonesia routes through Indonesia Juara Trip and Komodo Luxury. Put your dates and party size in the reservation note.
The archipelago is a national park (established 1999, marine reserve since 2001, about 110,117 hectares), so the natural fit is the water: island hopping, snorkelling on the reefs and quiet beaches. The desk can shape those days around your jump, quoted case by case. Karimunjawa is small and slow; that is the appeal, and the reason to leave buffer days.
